Acquiring a single image

This protocol explains how to take a simple image with just a single frame and a single channel. If acquiring multiple channels, timelapse, or z-stack images, follow Using the ND Acquisition panel.

1. Select the desired optical configuration by clicking on the button. You will hear the microscope change filter cubes. Wait until the sound stops before proceeding.
2. Check that the optical configuration settings are correct.
3. Click on the  icon. The microscope will take an image.
4. Save the image by selecting File > Save As.
